WHAT IS YOUR MISSION STATEMENT?
As the forgiven, living body of Jesus Christ,
Parklane Christian Reformed Church exists to
Worship God,
Nurture spiritual growth,
Fellowship with other believers, and
Proclaim the truth of His gospel to the world.
WHEN DO YOU GATHER FOR WORSHIP?
There are two worship opportunities each Sunday. Our morning worship service is at 11:00 AM and evening worship is at 6:00 PM.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM for all ages and runs through the school year.
Nursery is provided during our worship services and during our Sunday School hour. We follow a Safe Church policy. All nursery care workers are trained and background-checked, and there are always two workers present.
DO YOU HAVE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY?
Yes! We offer programs and activities that are designed to guide every member of your family as we pursue the way of Jesus.
WHAT DOES YOUR CHURCH BELIEVE?
We believe that the Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and life. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to redeem the world; we love and trust Him as the one who saves us from our sin; and with repentance and joy we embrace Him as Lord of our life.
Our beliefs are summarized in three ancient creeds: the Apostles', the Nicene, the Athanasian, which are the product of hundreds of years of reflection on the nature and work of Jesus Christ. We also use three documents from the 16th century Protestant Reformation: the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dordt and the Heidelberg Catechism, to help us articulate the good news about Jesus.

DO YOU BAPTIZE BOTH INFANTS AND ADULTS?
Yes. We believe that children of Christian parents are included in God's plan of salvation. This is known in the bible as the Covenant. Therefore, infant baptism could more accurately be called the baptism of children of Christian parents. Baptism is a sign of God's promise and a child baptized as an infant still needs to make a commitment at the point of belief. We also baptize believing adults who were not baptized as children.
WHAT DENOMINATION DO YOU BELONG TO?
We are part of the Christian Reformed denomination. This simply means that our roots are in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. We still hold to the principles promoted by the Reformation:
* The Bible alone is our authority because it is our source of knowledge of God's will.
* Grace alone - God's free gift of His love and forgiveness - restores people to a right relationship with the Lord.
* Faith alone, and not our best efforts at becoming good enough for God, is the way we become God's own children.
